Once again, the terrible, no good, very bad EARN IT Act has been reintroduced in Congress.

Montana’s SB 544 passed. The law will go into effect on January 1, 2024.
Texas’ HB 1181 (Louisiana copycat) and SB 2021 (copycat plus “health warnings”) both advanced in the last 2 weeks.
Alabama’s device filter bill passed out of the Commerce and Small Business committee.

On the brighter side, both of Florida’s bizarre anti-porn bills (SB 472 & 1620) failed to pass before the end of the 2023 legislative session on May 5th.
