Cathy Beardsley is president & CEO of SegPay, a European and US-based t Payment Service Provider (PSP), Payment Facilitator (PF) and ISO. SegPay is also full compliant with EU Payment Services Directive and is registered with the UK Financial Conduct Authority as an Authorized Payment Institution. Cathy founded the company in 2005 and established SegPay as the only IPSP to fully safeguard client funds by having transaction proceeds held and paid out directly from the acquirer or through a third party trust. The SegPay team offers webmasters a state-of- the-art billing platform that provides real time credit card and , direct-debit authorization services; automated password management systems, advanced risk management, marketing tools, real time sales reporting, and an online Web interface that makes account changes fast and convenient.

Cathy has more than 15 years’ experience leading and managing payment processing companies and developing innovative products and services. Prior to entering the payment processing industry, Cathy was a Regional Business Manager for MCI and worked as a Business Development Manager for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Systems.

In her spare time, Cathy, a formerly nationally-ranked college swimmer, enjoys golf, the gym and keeping up with her three children.

Cathy attended California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and earned a degree in Business Administration/Marketing. Cathy also attended the University of Santa Clara where she earned a Master in Business Administration/Finance.
