Alison Boden is a veteran adult entertainment industry executive who served on the Free Speech Coalition’s board of directors for over three years – including as its President – before taking on the role of Executive Director in 2022.
Since starting her adult industry career in 2003, Boden has held a wide variety of marketing, technology, and leadership positions at companies like Adult Empire, Gamelink, Videobox, and Kink.com. She also serves Pineapple Support as its board president.
Meghan

Meghan joined FSC with over 20 years of membership and marketing experience, in both corporate and nonprofit settings. Bringing her passion and knowledge for member initiatives, Meghan works to support the FSC mission: to protect the rights and freedoms of both the workers and businesses in the adult industry, by broadening the reach of FSC and developing additional benefits for FSC members.
Lotus Lain

Performer, activist and writer Lotus Lain has joined the Free Speech Coalition team to help manage relationships between the organization, its members, and the wider adult industry.
Lain’s first priority has been to grow the FSC INSPIRE program, which aims to help performers who are new to the industry understand their rights, expectations and the resources available to them.
Lain’s work continues in partnering with like-minded coalitions and organizations in elevating the experience for everyone from the performer to the production side and pleasure products sides of the adult industry while raising awareness to end discriminatory stigma.
Mike Stabile
Director of Public Policy

Mike Stabile is a journalist and documentary filmmaker who has written about and advocated for sex workers and sexual speech for over a decade. His work has been published in a wide range of publications, including the Daily Beast, Salon, Buzzfeed, Playboy and the New York Times. Seed Money, his documentary on pornographer philanthropist Chuck Holmes was named one of the Best Documentaries of 2015 by The Advocate.
Stabile founded Polari Media to help non-traditional communities and businesses better communicate with a mainstream audience. He has handled communications for the Free Speech Coalition since 2013.
Opal Klotz
Program Coordinator

A recent graduate of UC Santa Cruz, Opal is responsible for coordinating all of FSC’s program initiatives.
Valentine
Deputy Executive Director

Valentine is a sex worker and attorney who advocates for and educates on adult entertainment industry issues, sex worker rights, and related policy matters from an intersectional, holistic perspective, rooted solidly in both lived experience and empirical data. They first became involved with FSC in 2022 as a part of the organization's Legislative and Legal Committees (thank you, Reed!).
Valentine serves as a board member and business consultant for many alternative, creative, and adult companies, organizations, and self-employed individuals. They received their JD with a certificate in Art & Museum Law from DePaul University College of Law in 2024, and they also hold both a master's in Arts Management and a bachelor's in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago, as well as a certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University.
